Mark Tayar, PhD


Mark has lived experience of Bipolar I and has safely shared stories to help consumers, carers, community and clinicians.

Mark has worked in management roles in software, education and health. He currently works at Liverpool Hospital as a Peer Worker and at a charity in grants writing, project management and partnership development.

Mark has founded and led three small mental health nonprofits. He regularly plans and implements new creative projects involving storytelling, music and dance to raise awareness of mental health issues.

Mark has a private practice which has included corporate clients, charities and government agencies such as the Productivity Commission.
